It is such an honour to present for the first time in Mallorca my good friend and exceptional artist Andrés Mérida.

The first time I presented his work was a solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 1998. Since then I have had the opportunity to exhibit his art in many solo and group shows not only in Hong Kong but also in Shanghai and Manila. His paintings depict a universe of characters with a strong predominance of bullfighters, flamenco dancers and singers, fortune tellers, farmers,  fishermen... each one with a different history but full of passion and in a very personal style.
